EDWARD 'ED' JAMES BULLOCK

WILSON -- Edward "Ed" James Bullock, 88, died Thursday. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Joyner's Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Barnhill will officiate.
Mr. Bullock was the former owner of Electric Motor Service and an active member and former deacon of Five Points Baptist/Forest Hills Baptist Church. He was a former adult leader of the Cub and Boy Scouts.
Mr. Bullock is survived by two sons, Edward James "Jimmy" Bullock Jr. and wife, Margaret W. Bullock, of Princeton, Thomas Hilton Bullock and wife, Rose O'Neal, of Yorktown, Va.; a granddaughter, Megan Bullock; two step-granddaughters, Amanda O'Neal and Holly Meacham; a grandson, James Thomas Bullock; a sister, Madeline B. Collier of Jacksonville; and a brother, Joe Bullock of Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Hadnott Bullock; a grandson, James Kyle Bullock; two sisters, Inez Bullock and Edna Earl Freshwater; and a brother, James "Jim" Bullock.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, and at other times at 208 Lillian Road.
