KINSTON -- Shirley Harper Pate, 68, died Monday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. She was born in Lenoir County to the late Jamie Harper and Ludie Mae Stroud.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie Pate.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. tonight at Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange, with the Rev. Mike Creekmore officiating. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. from Pinelawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be tonight following the service and at other times at the home. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 712 Airport Road, Kinston, N.C. 28504.
