KINSTON -- Bennie Melvin "Ben" Rouse, 92, died Monday at Kinston Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Lenoir County to the late Herbert and Lillian Rouse. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Rouse.
One child survives.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Benson officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made to Gordon Street Christian Church, 118 E. Gordon St., Kinston, N.C. 28501. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
