Mary E. Artis Morrisey was born in Wayne County to the late Thad Artis and Laurina Artis of Wayne County. Our loved one departed this earthly life to her heavenly home on Sunday at Sun-Bridge Care and Rehabilitation of Mount Olive.
Homegoing services will be held Saturday at noon at Gospel Tabernacle Church of Deliverance, 1015 N. James St., Goldsboro, with Bishop Leamon Sykes officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Mill Cemetery.
Viewing will be held Friday from 2 until 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, and the family will be present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at 201 Meadow Crest Drive in Goldsboro and will also gather there for the funeral processional.
