PENNY BOYETTE MCFATTER

Penny Boyette McFatter, 77, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at Woodard's Care.
Penny was born in Johnston County on May 2, 1930, to the late Matthew G. Boyette and Edna Daughtry Boyette. She was married to the late Walter Avery McFatter. Penny was a long-time member of Oak Heights Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and served the church as secretary for 42 years. She was currently a member of Rosewood Worship Center.
Funeral will be Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Horace Johnson and Lynn Epps officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Penny is survived by her daughters, Pamela Kay James and husband, Charles, of Dudley and Debra Lee Donald and husband, Ron, of Goldsboro; her sister, Emma Jean Adams of Chocowinity; her grandchildren, Tim and Asheley, Katrina, Leigh Ann and Billy, Johnny and Amanda, Ben and Portia, Laura and David, Jonathan, Curtis and Sherri, Jennifer and Monty, Patty, Michael, and Margaret; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ila Mae Ferrell and her brothers, Willie Boyette and Milton Boyette.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Rosewood Worship Center, 2103 O'Berry Center Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
The family will receive friends Monday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Pam and Charles James, 118 Lafayette Drive, Dudley.
