Sandra Lee Kearney, 60, passed away Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A native of the Lindell Community of Wayne County, she was born the daughter of the late Lonnie Robert and Bessie Lee Carlisle Kearney.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service in Snow Hill with the Rev. James Gurkins officiating. Committal services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the Eureka Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, a brother, Lonnie Carson Kearney, also preceded Sandra in death.
She is survived by her sisters, Pattie Kearney Long and husband, Floyd, of Hertford, Carolyn Kearney Goodwin and husband, Buddy, of Fremont; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday immediately following the service and other times at the home of Buddy and Carolyn Goodwin, 509 Hillandale Drive, Fremont, N.C.
