James Lee Barnes, of 402 S. Williams St., died Monday at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Church of Christ with the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Sandhills National Cemetery, Fayetteville.
He is survived by his daughter, Katrina Barnes of Goldsboro; son, DeCarlous Barnes of Goldsboro; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Thursday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at the residence.
