GLENDORA ATKINSON BARNES

Glendora Atkinson Barnes, 78, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. The Wayne County native was the daughter of the late Paul and Viola Atkinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Barnes.
Six children survive.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Goldsboro. Pastor Joe Jackson will officiate. Wake services will be 6-7 p.m. tonight at the church. Burial will be in the Barnes Family Cemetery.
