LOIS G. DAWSON

Lois Elizabeth Grady Dawson, 86, died Monday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Lois was born in Wayne County to the late Albert Franklin Grady and Mary Elizabeth Sasser Grady. She was married to the late Lee Ashton Dawson Sr. Lois was a retired cook from Howell's Child Care.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Daly Cemetery, on St. John Church Road. The Rev. Rick Mondell will officiate.
Lois is survived by her son, James Durwood Dawson of Goldsboro; her nephew, Linwood Earl Grady and wife, Lois, of Goldsboro; and her special nieces, Pam Street and Sheila Morales of Goldsboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lee Ashton Dawson Jr.; her daughters, Lois Redmon and Lillie Herring; her sisters, Susie Mae Grady and Ellen Louise Grady; and her brothers, Henry Grady and Nathan Rudolph Grady.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service at the graveside.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
