LAGRANGE -- Annie D. Lewis, lovingly known by her family and church friends as "Mother Lewis," of 208 N. Forbes St., died on Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, N.C.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at noon from the Saints Delight United Holy Church, 976 LaGrange Road, Parkstown Community, LaGrange, N.C. with Bishop Leamon Dudley officiating. A viewing will be held, Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, N.C., from 1 to 8 p.m. A wake will be conducted at Hamilton Funeral Chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. with the family present to receive other family members and friends. Burial will follow the funeral on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, in the Old Mill Cemetery, Goldsboro, N.C.
She is survived by one son, Ishwann Dixon and wife, Felicia, of Roselle, N.J.; two daughters, Telisa Dixon of the home and Sharon Dixon of Bexley, Ohio; two grandchildren; four sisters; three brothers; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving friends and other family members at the home of Mother Annie D. Lewis, 208 N. Forbes St., LaGrange, N.C.
