Sally Zenovah Jordan Williams, 84, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Sally was born in Pitt County to the late Joseph C. Jordan and Nancy Cartwright Jordan, one of 12 children. She was married to the late Nathan Hugh Williams.
Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Dale Belvin officiating.
Sally is survived by her son, Hugh Gene Williams and wife, Shirley, of Fayetteville; her daughter, Janet W. Potter of Goldsboro; her sister, Myrtle Williams of Florida; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by a special family friend, Joan Brogden.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Nathan Potter Jr.; her grandson, Nathan Potter III; her brothers, Caroll, Ellsberry, A.J., Almond, Graham, Joe, Floyd and R.W. Jordan; her sisters, Clara Ward and Irene Meeks.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Antioch Free Will Baptist Church, 1407 Antioch Church Road, Pikeville, N.C. 27863.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her daughters, 1613 N. Berkeley Blvd., Goldsboro.
