Miriam Lee Swinson, 72, of 1801 Saxon St., died Sunday at S. Clai-borne Street, Goldsboro, N.C. Mrs. Swinson was affectionately known as "Bae" to her family and friends.
The body may be viewed Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, from 1 to 7 p.m., with the Swinson family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with Elder James E. Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Martin Luther King Expressway, Goldsboro.
She is survived by her sister, Inez V. Joyner; three brothers, James Swinson and wife, Elizabeth, Emmett Morris Swinson, Charlie Swinson and wife, Gloria, all of Goldsboro, N.C.; a special nephew, Emmett Swinson Jr. of Uniondale, N.Y.; nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
