INEZ GRADY MERCER

RALEIGH -- Inez Grady Mercer, 70, of 3215 Philmont Drive, died Thursday at Duke/Raleigh Hospital following an extended illness. Ms. Mercer was born in Duplin County to the late John Frank and Callie Outlaw Grady.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Garners Chapel Baptist Church, 1365 Garner Chapel Road, Mount Olive, N.C., with the Rev. Carlisle Franks officiating.
Ms. Mercer is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Mercer and friend, Scott Runyon, of Raleigh; her son, Charles "Dee" Mercer and wife, Lori, of Rolesville; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her sister, Annie Albertson and brother-in-law, Randall, of Mount Olive.

The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday.
