MILDRED H.C. JORDAN

Mildred Harriett Collier Jordan, 83, went to be with her Lord on Friday evening at the home of her daughter in Goldsboro.
Mildred was born in Wilson County on March 1, 1924, to the late Luther and Fannie Mae Watkins Collier. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and had devoted her entire life to caring for her family. Mildred was a member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gary Bailey and Barry Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in White Oak Church Cemetery.
Mildred is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy Upson of Michigan, Lois and Jerry Mooring of Goldsboro, Joyce Connor of Winton, Dianne Jordan of Goldsboro, Linda Jordan and Gene Rodenbeck of Goldsboro, and Susie and Grady Saunders of Colerain; her sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Lena Jordan of Zebulon, Kenneth Harold and Joan Jordan of Harrellsville and Andy and Cheryl Jordan of Whitakers; her sisters, Nellie Bell of Wilson and Elsie Hales of Kinston; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Annette Jordan and her brothers, Bobbie Lee Collier, Wallace Collier, Russell Collier and Cecil "Peanut" Collier.
Flowers are welcome or in lieu of flowers, memorials in Mildred's memory may be made to Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, 752 Stoney Creek Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home, 154 Vance Drive, Golds-boro.
