HAROLD MAGGARD JR.
MOUNT OLIVE -- Harold Clayton Maggard Jr., 30, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterward. Pastor Chris Watkins will officiate. Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Maggard was born in Wayne County on Oct. 31, 1977, to Harold Clayton Maggard Sr. and Janie Maggard. He was a member of Smith Chapel Volunteer Fire Department. Harold had a love for hunting, fishing and derby cars.
In addition to his parents, Harold is survived by his wife, Amy Smith Maggard; one son, Avery Harold Maggard of the home; one stepdaughter, Tabitha Kaye Gautier of the home; one sister, Dixie Gurley and her husband, Richard, of Mount Olive; his grandmother, Helen Reeves of Mount Olive; one niece, Brenda; one nephew, Alex; and his father and mother-in-law, Dick "Smithy" and Peggy Smith of Mount Olive.
