Herbert Mooneyham Jr., 68, died Thursday at Blue Ridge Health Care in Raleigh.
A private service will be held.
He was the son of the late Herbert and Nellie Gray Baker Mooneyham Sr.
He is survived by a son.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
