LONZA DANIELS
Lonza Daniels, 68, of 102 Mert Circle in the Rosewood Community, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 26, 2007, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. The Rev. Pete Norris, the Rev. Doug Radford and the Rev. Kelvin Gurley will officiate. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Daniels was a native of Wayne County born on Feb. 21, 1939, to the late Charlie Andrew and Bell Daniels. He was a member of Unity Fellowship Church. Mr. Daniels was in the furniture business for 47 years. He established Daniels' Furniture and Appliance in 1989, which he operated until he retired in 2005.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol "Sue" Daniels; one son, Bryan Daniels and his wife, Debbie, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Faith Radford and her husband, Nelson Radford, of Goldsboro; two sisters, Myrtle Manning and Shirley Grady, both of Kinston; and four grandchildren whom he adored, Hope Paugh and her husband, Jacob, Andrew Radford, Hannah Daniels and Cameron Daniels.
Pall Bearers will be Richard Daniels Jr., Ricky Daniels, Tim Sasser, Mac Radford, C.A. Roberson, Todd Entriken, Jerry Narron and Johnny Narron.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends following the service at Howell Funeral Home this evening and other times at the residence.
