STANTONSBURG -- Evelyn "Philon" Barnes, 63, of 585 Old Mill Road, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at St. James Holy Church in Stantonsburg with the Rev. Alonzo Braggs officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Burial Garden in Wilson. Viewing will be 2-5 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel in Wilson and from 6-8 p.m. at St. James Holy Church with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
