PIKEVILLE -- Annie Lucille Talton Jordan, 93, passed away Sunday after a period of declining health. She was a daughter of the late Fred and Lillian Deans Talton. She was a long-time member of Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Pikeville. For many years she served different families in Pikeville as a practical nurse.
Survivors include daughters, Roseitta J. Holland of Kenly, Christine J. Starling of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Richard Starling and wife, Angie, of Dunn, Jenny Hudson and husband, Freddie, of Kenly, Jerry Holland and wife, Angela, of Kenly; nine great-grandchildren, James Starling, Hunter Starling, Brianna Capps, Blake Capps, Britt Holland, Tanner Holland, Sydney Holland, Jordan Hudson and Eric Hudson.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Jordan Cemetery at White Oak Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Barry Stallings and the Rev. Al Keener will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Braxton R. Jordan; and a son, Billy Ray Jordan.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home in Kenly from 6 to 8 p.m.
