Virginia Hill Sullivan, 87, of Goldsboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday morning, Nov. 22, 2007, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Fu-neral Home and Crema-tory in Golds-boro. The Rev. James Frasher will officiate. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1 until 2 p.m.
Mrs. Sullivan was born in Wayne County on May 6, 1920, to the late Frank and Mamie Hill. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a past Sunday School Teacher at Second Baptist Church. Mrs. Sullivan retired from Isaac Khan Furniture Company which was located on Center Street in Goldsboro.
She is survived by one sister, Pinina Sullivan of Goldsboro and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Sullivan; two brothers, Johnny Hill and Jesse Hill; and one sister, Mary Hobbs.
