FAISON -- Mrs. Wilma Bell Malpass, 79, of 211 East College St., died early Friday at her home.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Faison Cemetery.
She was retired from Cates Pickle Company and was an active member at Faison Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, K. D. Malpass; an infant son, Kenneth Donald Malpass; another son, Gerald Malpass; two daughters, Jackie M. Vernon and Meade M. Langston; two brothers; two sisters; a grandson; and her parents, Libby Henry Bell and Nan Byrd Bell
Mrs. Malpass was survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Faye M. and Bill Jones, Debbie Malpass, Connie M. and Gerald Kornegay, all of Mount Olive; a son and two daughters-in-law, Dennis and Melinda Malpass of Faison and Joy J. (Mrs. Gerald) Malpass of Mount Olive; a sister, Nancy Evans of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was at the funeral home on Saturday night; at other times, the family will be at the residence.
