PIKEVILLE -- Nancy Rae Brown, 51, of 103 Britlan Drive, died Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Nancy was born in York County, Maine, to the late Bill and Bernice Patterson. She was a retired dispatcher for a taxi cab company in Biddeford, Maine. Nancy enjoyed the opportunity of using her computer and surfing the Internet. Other interests of Nancy's included swimming.
A service to remember Nancy will be held for the family at a later date at Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
Nancy is survived by her companion of 15 years, John Paul LeDoux Jr.; her sons, James Harrington of Biddeford, Maine, and Shawn Brown of the home; and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepmother, Dorothy Patterson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the University of New England Medical College, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, Maine 04005.
