FARMVILLE -- Edward Earl "Papa" Alphin Sr., 73, of 2601 Cobb Dail Road, died Sunday at his home. He was born in Greene County to the late John and Clara Alphin.
Six children survive.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Alphin, 2599 Cobb Dail Road, Farmville.
