Elder Gray R. Coley Sr., 67, of 153 Airline Place, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was the associate minister of Christ Temple of Praise Church.
The triumphant homegoing service will be held Wednesday at noon at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle Church in Wilson with the Rev. M.K. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Dew Coley of the home; daughters, Shirl Coley of Woodbridge, Va., and Regina Coley of Largo, Md.; a son, Gary Coley of Charleston, S.C.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries in Goldsboro. Elder Coley will lie in state for viewing Wednesday from 10 to 11:50 a.m. at L.N. Forbes Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle Church in Wilson. The family will be present to receive friends at the church Wednesday from 11 until noon.
