FRANK D. EDMONDS
Frank Dalma Edmonds passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He played a vital role in shaping many lives during his lifetime. Frank was a retired Federal Government employee and a retired North Carolina-Wayne County Magistrate.
Frank was born June 30, 1941, to the late Ransome and Beulah Edmonds in Littleton, N.C. Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Gamaliel, Alonzo and Richard Edmonds of Baltimore, Md., and Percy Edmonds of Littleton, N.C.
He is survived by his wife, Pretlo and son, Gary, of Mount Olive, N.C.; brother, Floyd Edmonds and wife, Juanita, of Dayton, Ohio; and sisters, Deborah Knight and Miriam Edmonds, of Littleton, N.C.
A memorial celebration of Frank's life will be held at the First Congregational UCC, Dudley, N.C., Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. with the Dr. Rev. Harold Daniel officiating. Interment will be announced at a later date.
Family members will greet friends at 412 Kelly Springs Road in Mount Olive, N.C. and immediately following services in the fellowship hall of First Congregational UCC, Dudley, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be mailed to the Building Fund of First Congregational UCC, P.O. Box 680, Dudley, N.C. 28333.
