KINSTON -- Neilly Collier Jones, 83, of Glencare Assisted Living, 1935 Idlewild Road, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Albritton Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Arminta "Minky" Deaver Collier; her husband, Ralph S. "Dick" Jones; her son, Lynwood E. Jones; and a grandson, Lynn Jones.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Garner Funeral Home, with the Rev. W. D. "Billy" Rayner officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Arminta J. Jackson and husband, Gordon "Ike", of Kinston; her sons, Perry Jones and wife, Linda, of LaGrange and Allen Jones and wife, Cathy, of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, 3602 Hillandale Drive, Kinston.
