ALONZO BREWINGTON JR.
Alonzo "Lawrence" Brewington Jr., 54, of 404 S. Herman St., went to be with his heavenly father on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007 at home.
Homegoing services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 601 W. Elm St., in Goldsboro with Elder Elbert Forbes officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park North.
Mr. Brewington was born on June 14, 1953, in Johnston County to the late Alonzo and Beulah Pearson Brewington. He was a member of Mount Zion Original Free Will Baptist Church in Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Ava Cole Brewington; a son, Stephen Brewington of Goldsboro; a daughter, Nichelle Cole of Raleigh; two sisters, Vernell Brewington Smith and her husband, Jesse, of Goldsboro and Zola Brewington of Greensboro; and a special nephew, Maurice Atkinson of Goldsboro.
Viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to service on Saturday.
