NAOMI J. ROWE

Naomi Ruth Johnson Rowe, 78, died Monday at Britthaven of Goldsboro. Born in Johnston County, she is the daughter of the late Galberth and Rachel Perry Johnson and the wife of the late Robert Earl Rowe. A homemaker, she was a former longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a current member of New Life Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. J.D. Eddins officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra Beatty of Philadelphia, Pa. and Mary Bass of Goldsboro; two brothers, Walter Johnson of West Virginia and Robert R. Johnson of Goldsboro; one granddaughter, Amy Hernandez; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Rose Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James M. Johnson.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
