NEWTON GROVE -- Lucille Powell Britt, 76, 1780 Watershed Road, died Sunday.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at St. John's P.H. Church with the Rev. Jim Skinner and the Rev. Richard Parson officiating. Graveside service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Bradshaw Family Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Grayson Britt and Hooper Britt, both of Newton Grove, Phil Britt of Goldsboro and Doug Britt of Hillsbourgh; sisters, Esther Thornton of Four Oaks, Eva Jones and Eloise Warren, both of Clinton; brothers, R.E. Powell of Newport, D.H. Powell of Fayetteville and Joe Powell of Clinton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church after the funeral service on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's P.H. Church, c/o Jeff Oglesby, 205 Eldridge St., Dunn, N.C. 28334.
