Thelma Gray Parker Jackson, 77, died Aug. 28. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Church of Christ, 430 E. Elm St. Pastor David Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park, Highway 117. Viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at McIntyre Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends from 5 to 6.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsie Jackson; and one son, Maurice Jackson.
She was survived by a son, Guthrie Parker, of the home; a daughter, Yvonne Jackson of Winston-Salem; a sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Gerald Tyree of Winton; sisters-in-law, Missionary Clementine Parker of Goldsboro and Sue Parks of Cheverly, Md.; a brother-in-law, Alwyn Spruill of Raleigh; and special niece and caretaker, Joyce Parker of Goldsboro
