Thelma Gray Parker Jackson, 77, died Aug. 28, 2007.
Funeral will be Tuesday at St. Luke Church of Christ, 430 E. Elm St., with pastor David Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at McIntyre Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsie Jackson; and a son, Maurice Jackson.
Survivors include a son, Guthrie Parker of the home; daughter, Yvonne Jackson of Winston-Salem; a sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Gerald Tyree of Winton; sisters-in-law, Missionary Clementine Parker of Goldsboro and Sue Parks of Cheverly, Md.; a brother-in-law, Alwyn Spruill of Raleigh; and a special niece and caretaker, Joyce Parker of Goldsboro.
