Russell Andrew Jackson, 74, died Monday morning at Goldsboro Assisted Living.
Russell was born in Wayne County to the late Andrew Jackson and Alice Bass Jackson. He retired from Franklin Baking Company with 45 years of service.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Bennett-Barnes Family Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Patricia Foss Jackson; his stepdaughter, Lisa Hall and husband, Marty, of Beulaville; his stepsons, Billy Whaley of Beulaville, Bobby Whaley of Pink Hill and Tony Whaley of Virginia; his sisters, Rachel Mozingo of Goldsboro and Doris Lewis of Goldsboro; and his brother, Ernest Jackson of Dudley; and four step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday following the service and other times at his home, 109 Beyer St., Goldsboro.
