SEVEN SPRINGS -- Marie Potter Craft, 87, of 1509 Mark Herring Road, died Thursday at her home. Mrs. Craft was born in Lenoir County to the late Daniel and Elizabeth Nunn Potter. She was wife of the late J.B. Craft and was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Radford; sister, Mary Everett; and four brothers, Laney, Alvin, Burke and Joseph Potter.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at 3 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home with Bishop Hugh Harper officiating.
Mrs. Craft is survived by a son-in-law, Kenneth Radford of Seven Springs; stepdaughter, Jean Craft of Grifton; sister, Sarah Nichols of Pink Hill; brother, Milo Potter of Seven Springs; two step-grandchildren, Andy Radford of Seven Springs and Jimmy Radford of Clemmons; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the Laney Potter home, 2777 Zion Church Road, Seven Springs, N.C. Online condolences may be expressed at www. rousefh.com.
