WILMINGTON -- H. Elwood Rouse, 68, passed on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He leaves cherished memories with his son, Wayne Rouse of Raleigh; his daughter, Sheila Rouse of Wilmington; former wife and devoted friend, Dorothy Rouse of Goldsboro; his mother, Lillian Rouse of Kenansville; his sisters, Dorothy Boshky of Hampstead and Mary Richardson of Slidell, La.; his brother, Don Rouse of Winnabow; and many others whose lives were enriched by his kindness and humor.
The family will receive visitors at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in Goldsboro on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Cayton officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
