Jacqueline Diane Rhodes, 59, of 200 Short St., passed away Thursday at home.
Funeral will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Goldsboro, with the Rev. Antonia Lawrence officiating. The viewing will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
Ms. Rhodes was born in Wayne County on March 12, 1948, to the late Ernest Marshall and Thelma Johnson Rhodes. Jacqueline was a 1966 graduate of Carver High School and a graduate of Fayetteville State University. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Dudley.
She is survived by one sister, Audrey Rhodes of Mount Olive; and several aunts and uncles, Fannie Wynn, Margaret Sallee, Cleo Bowden, Marion Johnson, Mary B. Moore, Peggy and Louis Fennell, Charles and Lillie Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
