JAMES E. PRICE
Died Aug. 10, 2007
James "Pinky" Edward Price, 84, of 109 Perry Drive, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Nathan and Carrie Howell Price and the widower of Thelma and Myrtle Price. Mr. Price was parts manager at C.L. Snipes Ford, a member of Westwood United Methodist Church and served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Rufus Butner officiating.
Surviving are his foster sons, Joe Nassef of Pikeville and Robert Nassef of Goldsboro; brothers, Roland Price and Vernon Price, both of Pikeville, and a special friend, Jessie Sasser of Goldsboro.
Mr. Price was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Price.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Seymour Funeral Home.
