LaGRANGE -- Debra Lynette Ward, 53, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Debra was born in Mecklenburg County on Oct. 18, 1953. She was employed with Goldsboro Milling Company for over nine years, where she was a truck driver. She donated to many charities through the years and lived and loved life to the fullest. Debra gave her all in everything she attempted to do in life and she did it to her best ability.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Ward Jr. of Goldsboro; three daughters, Tesa Atkinson and Brandy Ward both of Goldsboro and Cathy McGowan of Greenville; and three grandchildren, Jose Ward, E'Lexius Atkinson and Carlos Atkinson.
Debra was preceded in death by one son, Christopher Gaskins.
The family received friends on Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
