WILMA BOSWELL
JACKSONVILLE -- Wilma Ruth Creech Boswell, age 86, formerly of Aycock Street in Fremont passed away, Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Britthaven of Jacksonville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral.
Mrs. Boswell was born in Johnston County on October 8, 1920, to the late William Thomas Creech and Sallie Catherine Pearce Creech.
She is survived by four daughters, Nelda B. Futrell and her husband, Gerald, of Jacksonville, N.C.; Barbara B. Godwin and her husband, Mike, of Currie, N.C.; Linda B. Sugg and her husband, Clayton, of LaGrange, N.C.; and Mary B. Boswell and her husband, Cecil, of Ashland City, Tenn.; one sister, Sally Jollie and her husband, Archie Henry, of Forestville, Md.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boswell was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Thomas "A.T." Boswell and one sister, Alice Peedin.
