JARVIS L. FLOWERS
PIKEVILLE -- Jarvis Lester Flowers, age 45, of 1611 Nor-Am Road, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. The Rev. Gene Thompson will officiate. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Mr. Flowers was born in Wayne County on March 16, 1962, to Dollie Strickland Flowers and the late Carlos Jack Flowers. Mr. Flowers was co-owner of Eastern Air Conditioning Services.
In addition to his mother, Dollie Flowers of Pikeville, he is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Flowers; one son, Mark Flowers of the home; one daughter, Stephanie Flowers Moore and her husband, Terry Wayne Moore Jr., of Pikeville; one sister, Rhonda Fields and her husband, Billy, of Pikeville; one granddaughter, Jaida Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service tonight.
