Sadie Marie Britt McAlister, 57, of 743 Pecan Road, died Friday at her residence. Born in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Sydney and Ruby Smith Britt, and was the wife of Tony T.J. McAlister. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two nephews, Robbie and Chris Gause.
Mrs. McAlister will lie in state at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in her memory.
