Danny Lee McCullen Sr., 56, of 113 Country Run Lane, died Wednesday at his residence. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Willie Roy and Edna Smith McCullen. He retired from A.P. Parts after 27 years.
Funeral services will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rick Medlin officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the McCullen Family Cemetery.
Mr. McCullen is survived by his wife, Carol McCullen; three sons, Thomas Deaver of Goldsboro, Danny McCullen Jr. of Goldsboro, Kenny McCullen and fiancée, Melissa Locklear, of Dudley; one daughter, Brenda McCullen Smith and husband, Don, of Goldsboro; one brother, Tony McCullen of Grantham; and 17 grandchildren.
Family members will greet friends Friday evening immediately following the funeral service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
