STEVEN DODSON BRIDGES

DURHAM -- Steven Dodson Bridges, 78, died Saturday at his home after several months of declining health.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Joyce H. Bridges; his three sons and two daughters-in-law, Wayne S. Bridges, Marcus D. and Lenore Forthofer Bridges of Durham, Grady M. and Cathy Evans Bridges of Pikeville; and grandchildren, Steven L. Bridges of Durham, Frances Evelyn (Eve) Bridges and Johnny Mitchell Bridges of Pikeville.
A funeral will be held at Guess Road Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Monday by the Revs. Greg Clark, pastor, Willard Hardison of Goldsboro and Tommy Honeycutt of Roseboro. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Clements Funeral Home in Durham from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday evening.
The family is being assisted in Durham by Clements Funeral Service.
