JUDY HARMON

Judy Harmon, 63, went to be with her Lord on Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Judy was born in Lakeview, N.C., to the late James Blue and Laverne Matthews Blue. She graduated from Fayetteville Senior High School in Fayetteville, N.C. Judy was not only passionate about her family, she was also passionate about her work. She worked in the food service industry for 30 years. Judy started in Fayetteville, moved to Charlotte and later Newbery, S.C., with Thomas and Howard Company. In 2001, she moved to Goldsboro, N.C., with Pate-Dawson Company. Judy was respected by her customers, associates and competitors.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 11, 2007, at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, N.C.
Judy is survived by her son, John Knowles and wife, Theresa; her sister, Linda Polk; nephew, Larry Polk and wife, Jenna, and their two sons, Corban and Zane, who were the apples of her eye.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C. 27834.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. and also immediately following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
