SEVEN SPRINGS -- Hazel McCullen Grant, 80, of 401 Azalea Drive, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Grant was born in Duplin County to the late Roy and Katie McCullen. She was wife of the late Harold Weston Grant and was preceded in death by a son, Robert Harold "Bobby" Grant. Mrs. Grant enjoyed growing and sharing her flowers with others and was a member of Seven Springs United Methodist Church.
A service of rememberance will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at 6 p.m. from Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Terry Hobbs officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. from Seven Springs UMC Cemetery.
Mrs. Grant is survived by a son, Gary Grant, and wife, Cindy; sister, Edna Barwick; three sisters-in-law, Ora Wade Holmes, Georgia Gray Price and Rose Daly; and a brother-in-law, Shorty Grant.
The family will receive friends following the service Tuesday evening and, at other times, they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Grant, 106 W. Spring St., Seven Springs.
