DONALD MOORE

June Donald Moore, 66, died Monday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Donald was born in Wayne County to the late Preston R. Moore and Evelyn Price Ham. He was a retired service manager for Salem Leasing Corporation. Donald was a member of Adamsville Church of God and a charter member of New Hope United Methodist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Adamsville Church of God with the Rev. Wesley Jarman officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
Donald is survived by his children, Kimberly Dean and husband, Lonnie, of LaGrange, Scottie Moore and wife, Jennie, of Mount Olive and Jerry Moore and wife, Melinda, of Charlotte; his brother, Ronald Moore and wife, Linda, of Cary; his sisters, Judy Buck and husband, Bobby, of Alexandria, Va., Becky Smith and husband, Luby, of Goldsboro, and Mildred Worrell and husband, Danny, of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Alicia Dean, Alexis Dean, Ashley Moore, Jason Moore and Britney Moore; and a special group of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friend and pet, Sam.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Lonnie Dean, 2118 N. Beston Road, LaGrange.
