Akie Lilly, age 59, of 407 Marcia Drive, died Sunday morning at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Chikagawa, Japan, and is survived by her husband, Marky Lilly.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry O. Lilly officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lilly is survived by a daughter, Sherrie Shearouse of Warner Robins, Ga.; two sons, Scott Alan Dietrich of Goldsboro, and Samuel J. Lilly of the home; three grandchildren; her mother, China Kawaguchi of Japan; and four sisters of Japan.
