Dorothy Lewis, 64, of Goldsboro, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be noon Monday at Elm Grove Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, Pikeville. The Rev. Kenneth Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in the Chris Coley Cemetery in Pikeville.
Mrs. Lewis was a native of Scotland Neck.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine White, and a son, Bobby Lewis Jr.
She was employed at South 17th Street School in Newark, N.J., for 25 years, and was a member of Elm Grove Church of Christ.
Viewing will be today at McIntyre Funeral Home from 3 until 7 p.m.
The family will be present to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m.
She was the wife of Bobby Lewis, of the home, who survives.
She was also the proud mother of a son, Bryon Lewis of Newark, N.J.; and three daughters, Terri Glover and Karen Lewis of Hillside, N.J., and Pamela Hargrove of Plainsboro, N.J.
Other survivors, in addition to her husband and daughters, include two brothers, Clarence White of Baltimore, Md., and Ernest G. White of Scotland Neck, N.C.; three sisters, McCilla Brown of Baltimore, Md., Vina Spruell of Plainsboro, N.J., and Patricia Miller of Scotland Neck; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
