Ethel Brooks Carraway, 87, died Monday at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Mount Olive.
Mrs. Carraway was born in Pitt County to the late Clyde Brooks and Maybelle Joyner Brooks. She was married to the late Roy Lee Carraway. Mrs. Carraway was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hill officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hollywood Cemetery in Farmville.
Mrs. Carraway is survived by her daughters, Peggy Dawson and husband, Lloyd, of Goldsboro and Donnie Caroon and husband, Dan, of Alexandria, Va.; her grandchildren, Mike Dawson and wife, Erika, of Greenville, Robin Dawson of Greenville, Shari Kearney of Goldsboro and Chris Mintz and wife, Mary Elizabeth, of Raleigh; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Clyde Elizabeth Letchworth and husband, Walter, of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday following the service and other times at the home of Peggy and Lloyd Dawson, 1710 Salem Church Road, Goldsboro.
