PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Funeral services for Robert D. Pigford, 90, 1549 S. Chadwick St., will be Saturday at 1 p.m. from Winn Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Jacob Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
Mr. Pigford died Saturday at University of Pennsylvania Hospital and is the son of the late Robert and Bertha Jacobs Pigford.
He is survived by three brothers, Huey and Johnnie Pigford, both of Philadelphia, Pa., and Thomas Columbus Pigford of Wilmington; sister, Nicy Virginia Brown of Wilmington.
Viewing will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Winn Chapel Baptist Church, Mount Olive.
