GLADYS H. KEARNEY

Gladys Estelle Ham Kearney, 78, died Tuesday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro. A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of William and Kizzie Hill Ham. She was a member of Fort Run PFWB Church and worked with Sutton's Rest Home for many years.
Funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday at Fort Run PFWB Church, with the Rev. Larry Turlington officiating. Committal services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hill Family Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin "Bud" Kearney Jr.
She is survived by her son, James Randy Kearney of Snow Hill; former daughter-in-law, Donna H. Kearney of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Stanley Harrell and Casey Kearney, both of Snow Hill; and her niece and caregiver for many years, Connie Ginn Brown of Goldsboro.
Family will receive friends Friday immediately following the service and other times at the home of Connie Brown, 318 East Wayne Road, Goldsboro.
